Frequently asked questions
Do people need an app to open my card?
No. A compatible iPhone or Android phone opens your link without downloading anything.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. You can order a single card. Ordering for a team? Request a team quote and we'll price it for your team size.
What can my Taply card open?
Your card can open a Taply profile, your existing website, a booking page, your social links, a review page, or another link we set up for you.
What is included with Card + Profile?
A programmed Taply card and a mobile profile built in your selected template with your approved information and images. $45 upfront includes the first month of hosting, then $5/month per hosted profile. See a live profile.
Can I update my information later?
Yes. With active hosting, email hello@taply.cards to request changes to your profile details. Your card continues to open the same profile URL.
Can I change where my card points after it's made?
Yes. Contact us and we'll send you a return label. Mail us your card, and we'll reprogram it to open your new link and ship it back to you. The link can't be changed remotely, and you can't change it yourself. Just want to update the details on your Taply profile? You don't need to send your card in for that. See "Can I update my information later?"
Can Taply work for an entire team?
Yes. We can make matching cards and individual profiles for sales teams, real estate offices, salons, restaurants, service businesses and other organizations.
What happens after I purchase?
After checkout, complete the setup form in your confirmation email. Most orders are prepared within 14 business days after payment and all setup details are received. For Card + Profile, you approve the preview before we program and ship your card. Waiting for approval or requested revisions can extend that timing. Carrier delivery time is additional.
