The Basics
What is Taply Cards?
Taply Cards is a modern digital business card company. We make premium matte-black NFC cards that instantly share your contact information, profile, or website when tapped to any smartphone. No app needed — just tap and go.
How does the card work?
Your Taply Card has a tiny NFC chip inside (the same technology used for contactless payments). When someone taps your card to their phone, it instantly opens your profile, website, or link in their browser. It takes less than a second and works on virtually every modern smartphone.
Do I need an app?
No — and neither does the person you're sharing with. Taply Cards work with the built-in NFC reader on iPhones and Android phones. No app download required on either end.
Will it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes! Taply Cards are compatible with iPhone (XS and newer) and virtually all modern Android devices. As long as the phone has NFC enabled (which it is by default on most phones), it will work instantly.
Setup & Profiles
What's the difference between Card Only and Card + Profile?
Card Only ($25/card) is for people who already have a profile, website, or link they want to share — like a Linktree, dealership profile page, or personal website. We program your card to open that link.
Card + Profile ($45/card) includes everything above, plus we build a fully hosted digital profile page for you from scratch. We design it, program your card, and manage updates for you. Perfect if you don't have an existing profile.
How long does setup take?
Most orders are set up and shipped within 3–5 business days after you send us your information. We'll reach out after your order to collect everything we need.
Can I update my information later?
Yes! If you have the Card + Profile package, just send us your changes and we'll update your profile quickly. If you have the Card Only package and your link changes, let us know and we can reprogram your card.
Can I use my own website instead of a Taply profile?
Absolutely. The Card Only option is designed exactly for this. Just provide us with your URL and we'll program your card to open it directly.
Can I add social media links?
Yes! If you have the Card + Profile package, your profile page can include links to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and more. Just include them when you send us your setup information.
Can I upload my logo or photo?
Yes. For Card + Profile customers, we can include your headshot, business logo, or both on your profile page. Just send us the images when you submit your setup details.
Orders & Pricing
Do you offer bulk pricing?
Yes! The more cards you order, the less each one costs. Here's how it breaks down:
Taply Card (Card Only):
- 1–9 cards: $25 each
- 10–24 cards: $20 each
- 25+ cards: $15 each
Taply Card + Profile:
- 1–9 cards: $45 each
- 10–24 cards: $35 each
- 25+ cards: $20 each
Can I order cards for my entire team?
Yes, and we make it easy. Many of our customers are dealerships, real estate brokerages, and businesses that outfit their entire staff. Each team member gets their own card programmed to their individual profile or link. Just let us know how many you need and we'll take care of the rest.
What happens if I lose my card?
Replacement cards are available at $15 per card. Your profile and programming stay the same — we just ship you a new card and program it to your existing setup. Contact us to order a replacement.
